You're not the problem. You're in one.

By the time you find us, you've tried everything reasonable. We don't coach you to manage them. We teach you to stop being a target, and to stop keeping yourself stuck in your own story. Everything we do is grounded in disengagement, BIFF® and SAFE™ communication, and structural boundaries through a pro-kid lens, while growing strong ROOTS™ with your children.

Who you'll work with

The coaches behind the method.

Coach Michelle (California licensed attorney with 20+ years*, Martha Beck Certified Wayfinder Coach, New Ways for Families® Certified Instructor and Educator with the High Conflict Institute, and trained in Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing®) and Coach Brittany (Ghostwriting Lead Coach, bilingual, author and educator) bring over 20 combined years to high-conflict co-parenting.

Our approach

Four moves that change the pattern.

We don't coach you to "win." We coach you to stop feeding the cycle, because the cycle is what's costing your kids, your money, and your nervous system. Our high-conflict co-parenting coaching is present-focused, action-oriented, and grounded in disengagement, BIFF® communication, and parallel parenting.

01

Regulate

Your nervous system, before you respond. The science behind why “knowing better” doesn’t make you act better.

02

Disengage

From the conflict, not from your kids. Parallel parenting set up so it actually works.

03

Communicate

Using SAFE™ + BIFF® so every message is calm, brief, court-ready, and child-centered.

04

ROOT

Build ROOTS™ with your kids: Regular Opportunities Of Togetherness & Stability, the strongest antidote to alienation.

My husband and I hired Michelle to go into our Talking Parent app and be like a ghostwriter for us. I can't tell you how much of an incredible relief this was and what a game changer it was for our lives. Our mental health improved. Our relationship improved. Our adrenaline fatigue recovered. We got so much healthier. Highly recommend.

Michelle was recommended to me by my attorney as I'm facing a high-conflict divorce. As we have two beautiful girls, I signed up for the course as I needed to ensure I do my part to minimize unnecessary conflict. The course and your suggestions have been incredibly helpful, especially since I've never navigated a situation like this before.

Michelle has helped me find the power, voice, and confidence to stand up for myself and for my child while recovering from years of legal battles. She takes pages-long emails and just gives me the facts, allowing me to stay away from the drama and focus on making sound decisions. Michelle is allowing me to put far more attention towards all that's good in life — as opposed to being stuck in never-ending emotional mud.

Honest answers

The questions clients actually ask.

What is life coaching, and how is it different from therapy?

Life coaching provides you with the tools to take your ordinary life and make it extraordinary. Michelle works mostly with parents involved with a high-conflict co-parent, teaching them how to disengage from attempts to stay in an over-enmeshed, toxic dynamic.

Unlike therapy, which dives into your past to uncover painful experiences, coaching focuses on the present moment, which changes attitudes formed from past experiences. Coaching gets you in touch with what your true essential self wants out of life. Michelle asks powerful questions to help you find the answers you already have.

Can you work with just one parent?

Yes. Almost all of Michelle's 1-to-1 work is with a single co-parent. Our job is to change what's in your control, which is where change actually starts.

Is Michelle acting as my attorney?

No. Coach Michelle does not practice family law and will not be working with you as an attorney. Her training and 20+ years of litigation experience enhance her understanding of high conflict, and she often works hand-in-hand with the client's own attorney.

How do sessions work, practically?

Sessions are held via Zoom or telephone, based on your preference. They're 1-to-1 and fully private. You'll receive actionable steps after each session and ongoing accountability as you build skills and confidence.
